Richard Lee

Richard is the Operating Partner at Medicxi and a member of the co-founding team. Richard is responsible for all aspects of the operations of Medicxi and acts as General Counsel to the firm. 

Prior to joining Medicxi, Richard was legal counsel at Index Ventures for five years, having joined in 2011 to focus on US and European investments in venture and growth-stage technology and life sciences companies. Prior to that he was an Associate in the Corporate division at the law firm Linklaters for five years.

Richard received a BA in History from the University of Nottingham and subsequently completed his legal training at Nottingham Law School.
