Charles Grummitt

Charles is a Venture Partner at Medicxi and focuses on antibody engineering and drug discovery. As well as holding several academic research positions, Charles has worked at biotechs including F-star and Adaptimmune and was head of Co-development at FairJourney Biologics where he built and led antibody discovery programmes in partnership with academic groups and early biotech spin-outs. Charles has also worked in various business development and consulting roles for biotechnology companies.

Charles supports a number of Medicxi portfolio companies, including Ethyreal, KliRNA and Acera.

Charles received a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College, London and a PhD in Protein Engineering from the MRC Centre for Protein Engineering at Cambridge University.
