Charles Grummitt

Charles advises the Medicxi investment team on antibody engineering and drug discovery. As well as holding several academic research positions, he has worked at biotechs including F-star and Adaptimmune and was head of Co-development at FairJourney Biologics where he built and led antibody discovery programmes in partnership with academic groups and early biotech spin-outs. He has also worked in various business development and consulting roles for biotechnology companies. Charles received a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College, London and a PhD in Protein Engineering from the MRC Centre for Protein Engineering at Cambridge University.
